This year started with the COVID 19 lockdown. We kept in touch with Virtual Meetings, where every month, ERs sent in their words and pictures. Each telling their story of how they were getting on with their modelling lives.
In June we had our first Actual meeting, where a few brave souls arrived laden with their modelling paraphenalia. Some of those who, for one reason or another, couldn't make it, continued to send in their modelling notes.
August saw the first 'Live' show, run by IPMS Avon and held at Thornbury Leisure Centre. It was a great success. More shows have reappeared throughout the year.

Gold medals (plus more) for Phil, Hugh and Steve in the Nationals Competition
Wins for Sean in the ERs Stand Competitions
This year, due to COVID (and Brexit), the IPMS took up only two of the Telford International Centre's Halls. One of which also contained the Nationals Competition area. In spite of this, it felt like 'Business as Usual.'

October meeting
13 ERs turned up to the October meeting. While some just came along to bring their models/place holders for display on our stand at SMW21, quite a few stayed for most of the day, to catch up on their modelling!
In readiness for the big show, Steve began the mammoth task of fitting everyone's models in place on the mock up stand.
It was great to see so many faces for the first time since lockdown.

REME show delights
Steve, Jeff, Rolly and Peter supported the REME Museum show at MOD Lyneham. After travelling through the cold, damp and misty countryside, the stand was set up by Steve & Jeff, with Rolly arriving soon after. Peter joined the ERs stand a little later - after the initial trio had enjoyed cooked baps! Free tea & coffee was supplied all day.
There was much interest in the wide and varied subjects on display.
