An enjoyable time was had by all at Salisbury

Hugh, Mark and Peter headed to Salisbury, where they were joined by Roly for the IPMS Salisbury Model Show, home of legendary home-made cake on the refreshments stall. The stand featured aircraft in three scales, AFVs in two and cars in 1/32, plus a refugee Grogu (baby Yoda thing) from Mick, because it seems Grogu isn’t a Churchill tank, so he wasn’t suitable for the Churchill SIG stand.

As usual, all of our exhibits attracted interest, with Mark’s Harriers and Canberras battling it out with Hugh’s Vickers Gunbus and Supermarine Channel for the title of “most photographed”.

Hugh’s Aviatik-Berg picked up a
silver medal in the competition,
and showed it off on the stand at
the end of the show.

An enjoyable time was had by all at this well-run, friendly show.
