Liz, Jeff and Steve travelled down to the Helicopter Museum at Weston Super Mare, to set up the Earley Risers stand at the North Somerset Modellers Show. Without the lights on and with the hangar doors wide open, the set up was interesting, to put it mildy.
It was a busy day, lots of helicopters to see, traders to possibly compare and buy from and some very interesting club model displays with their newly finished models to peruse. Nearly everyone had something to sell from under the table, which made passage difficult at times.
Fortunately, most of the inclement weather arrived when we were sat comfortly behind the stand. The only downside to the day was the holiday traffic - and the roadworks on the M4.
Set between a pair of Whirlwinds and with a Wessex alongside, the stand attracted a lot of interest from all, young and old.
