Avon's new venue at Thornbury was certainly bigger, better and brighter than previous years.
Everyone had more space in the two adjacent sports halls to display their wares.
Hugh, Liz and Steve along with Jeff, Mark and Les B put on a dazzling display that created much interest.
It was good to see Sean too. (He only flew back to the UK yesterday!)
More award winning models
Hugh's Gun Bus not only won Best in Show, it gained awards for Best Aircraft Overall and Best 1/48 scale Aircraft.
Steve's newly finished Fokker D.VII was placed second in the Larger Scale Aircraft Class on its first outing.
