This was our first visit to Midland Expo, the show run by Birmingham IPMS.
Liz, Jeff, Hugh and Steve managed to find the venue and after some 'to and froing' had the two allocated tables populated with their models in plenty of time.
The organisers produced a show with a pleasing mix of traders and a variety of club stans, several of which we had never seen before!
For most of the day, the weather was hot and sticky with just a single downpour in evidence.
Award Winning models
Hugh gained Second Place in the 1/48 scale Aircraft Class with his scratch-built Vickers Gun Bus,
while Steve won a First Place with his Skaven Doomwheel in the Sci-Fi Class!
