FAAM Show 15 Feb 2014

Liz & Steve along with Mark and Tom, braved the howling gales and deepening floods to show the flag at the FAAM's Model Show at RNAS Yeovilton. This year, traders & clubs were not allowed to park on the grass infront of the museum and swordfish restaurant. This meant a lot of longer journeys to and fro. carrying all the stand components and models. In fact of all the stands ours, set up under the Mig 15, must have been the furthest distance to get to from the car park!

Despite the conditions, the show was packed with clubs, traders and members of the public. The damp conditions didn't stop some intrepid model flyers practicing their skills! Our stand created quite a lot of interest; Liz's Iron Man, Wallace & Gromitt and Dalek wowed the younger modellers, while Mark's Lancasters created a lot of interest and Steve's Mig 15s, under the real thing, attracted the attention of more than a few visitors.

Situated under the Mig 15, the stand created a lot of interest, from young and old.
