Jeff, Big Mick, Liz and Steve set up their 2 tables between the aircrft in the BDAC hangar at Old Sarum airfield. This delightful pre-war airfield is set in rolling countryside, between Boscombe Down to the North and Salisbury to the South. This, and the adjacent hangar, both date from the 1920's. Visitors are positively encouraged to inspect the collection's many exhibits at close quarters. In fact most are open to climb in!
As the debut show of the Boscombe Down Aircraft Collection, this was a great success. Hopefully, with more cooperation from a few aircraft owners, the show could expand into the adjacent hangar.
Much fun was had scrambling in and out of the many cockpits on display.
