There were some intense moments at The Earley Risers Summer Competition, which was held during our June 15th meeting.
54 models were entered by 16 of the membership. During Round One, judged by the 19 members present, 42 entries gained votes.
In the second round, All Plate(OOB) class winners were pitted together, and the winner was awarded with the Earley Risers Plate.
Similarly, all Challenge Cup (detailed/amended) class winners competed for the Cup.
At the same time, Cup and Plate winners in each class competed for their indiviual Class Award.
The various awards were shared between 8 different club members. This year, the judging to select The Challenge Cup was so very close, it involved a three-way tiebreak!
