Less model entries but more people entering this year

Following last year’s post lockdown competition things got back to normal with this year’s competition which was the first at our new venue.

16 people entered 56 models between them. It was great to see our new members getting stuck in and doing well in competition. We had a very diverse range models although the “sea” classes remain poorly supported. There were also no entries for the Mick Marshall Jug this year.

The standard of models was high and the competition fierce across the 10 different trophies. 6 different people won trophies with others coming very close.

Well done to all the winners and everyone who took part, it was a very impressive spread.

Thanks to everyone who helped set-up and run the competition, to the judges who had to deal with the tiebreaks and everyone for their patience and good humour as we managed so many models.

The competition raised £33 for club funds.

18 club members had the tough task of judging all these models.
