The competition was very well attended, with 15 people entering 65 models between them, into the 2 major trophies and 12 of the 15 different classes. 3 Challenge Cup classes had no entries this year: Military Air, Marine Subjects and Figures. There was a very diverse range of models and the standard was very high.
18 club members then judged the competition. - A tough job, given the quality of models. Of the 65 entries, 48 received a vote, with 6 different people winning an award.
This was our first year running a revised set of rules and things seemed to go well.
Thanks to everyone involved for the modelling, for judging and for making it a fun event. £37 was raised for club funds.
