Liz, Steve and Hugh travelled down to Parkstone Grammar School (which is actually North of Poole!) together and set up, closely followed by Phil. Peter joined us a little later. We were situated (shoe-horned!) in front of the stage, and the competition was held in the corridor off to the right.
Everyone except Peter entered the competition in various categories - all came away with some awards!
The 'Open System' of judging was used, where - in the opinion of the judges - all entries to a similar level in each class, were given the same award. For example; there could be no Golds, yet 3 Silvers and 10 Bronzes in a particular class.
Note:
Steve?
Chaos in the competition area - Results not announced this year. By the time Steve made it there, all the Certificates were scattered all over the tables - With multiple entries, no idea which was awarded to what!
