A Great day at the Competition Tables - and off it!
|
The Earley Risers stand was well populated this year, both by members of the club and their models (50).
While Mark, Martin and Liz were doing their bit for the IPMS EC, Hugh, Steve, Geoff, Big Mick, Sean and Jeff set up the display. Richard, Andrew, Tim, Les B, Les V helped man the stand. Although unable to attend SMW16, Tref did supply a model for the stand - as did George.
This year's display theme - 50 Shades of Grey - won Silver in the Jesse Wright Trophy.
Quite apt really, as the award is a silvery grey colour!
This is awarded to the best club displays at Scale ModelWorld each year.
