This year, "Here's one I made earlier." was the theme of our stand. Members of the club revisited a model, or theme, that they had built before. Perhaps to see if their skills have improved?
13 club members made the trip to Telford. Liz, Mick and Steve arrived on Friday morning to help the organising committee set up the show, as well as putting out our stand cloths. In the afternoon, Jeff, Phil, Peter, Geoff, Mark and Hugh arrived, followed a little later by Tim L, to finish putting up the display. Tim P and Roger joined us on Saturday, with Rolly joining us for the weekend. Liz again spent most of the weekend as Front of House in the Foyer. Although this year, she did have about 40 minutes off to whizz around the show!
Due to COVID (and Brexit), with lots of traders and clubs staying away, the IPMS took up only two of the Telford International Centre's Halls. One of which also contained the Nationals Competition area. In spite of this, it felt like 'Business as Usual.' |
The Club Dinner, at its new venue in Bridgnorth, seemed to be a roaring success.
