SMW2012 Debrief
Thanks to all of you who took part and helped to make SMW2012 a successful show for The Earley Risers.
We had an eclectic mix of models, from the exquisitely detailed, to the offbeat fun subjects.
All attracted a lot of attention from all who came by.
Medals & Awards
Our stand, with its 'The Night is ours' theme, gained a Bronze Award (closely beaten by the other two by a single vote!)
Tref's Schools Class Loco and Steve's Skaven Doomwheel each gained a Gold medal, while Hugh's Bugatti 100P aircraft won a Silver medal.
This year the Antics Cup was won by Hugh with his Woodcock display, with Mark's Tigercat coming second. Roger's UHU (that's the German halftrack, not the aircraft) came third.
It's the first time that both Tref and Roger have entered competitions at SMW
Volunteers
On another note, let us not forget our volunteers, without who we wouldn't be able to have a stand at SMW.

Steve also did his stuff at the Branch Secretaries' Meeting - He was also volunteered to marshal Traders' vehicles into the halls on Sunday evening after the show finished!
