Shuttleworth Model Show

Intrepid Earley Risers brave the Shuttleworth Collection's Scale Model Show at the bitterly cold Old Warden airfield.

Early on a bitter Sunday morning, Liz & Steve arrived to put up our display stand. In short order, Robin, Nigel & Ewan, followed by Andrey set up the displays. Peter managed to complete the display - after first scouring the models for sale boxes!

Luckily, hot food & beverages were available from the restaurant.

As usual, we put on a varied display of our models, that attracted interest throughout the day. Most of our models seemed to have been photographed - from Liz's 'Leaky Boat Louie' to Robin's cars.

Perhaps because of the added bonus of viewing the large number of museum exhibits as well as the model show and, despite the temperature, the show gained a large number of visitors during the day.
