Tim L & The Nige show the flag in Ipswich

Earley Risers’ Tim L & Nige hit the roads on Friday to overnight in Ipswich for the East Anglia Model Show.
It was forecasted to be a warm one with temperatures heading to high 20’s and, as the venue was a sports dome, so it was likely to be a warm day.

The hosts had made two 6’ tables available that they were able to fill comfortably, with Tim’s B29 as a centrepiece, extended with a centre selection of silver subjects, allied subjects to the left and axis subjects to the right. |

Competition Success
Following lots of WhatsApp chatter they both put models into the competition; Tim picked up a Highly Commended for his Lotus, and Nigel got Silver Awards for his Dragon Wagon and Sea Dart along with a Highly Commended for his E-100.

At 1 o’clock everyone stepped outside to watch the Trooping the Colour fly past (Pictures by Tim). |

Overall it was a very well organised and friendly show; there was plenty of interaction and interest in the display.
