Earley Risers' first trip out in 2025.
It’s cold, it’s and wet and we are heading down the A31.
It must be time for Bovington tank museum's winter show and Earley Risers first show of the year.
We set-up on Friday afternoon in our normal spot in front of the Chieftain.
On Saturday Peter, Steve, Ewan & Nige, Dave, Jeff and Sean manned the stand. It was extremely busy, with the public overflow carpark very full. There was a wide range of traders and model clubs including, RC vehicles and aircraft, Dr Who & the Daleks along with Robot wars. The traders looked to be having a good day, with many bargains to be had.
The Nige, Dave, Jeff and Sean held the fort on Sunday. Normally quiet, this year - although not as busy as Saturday - there were still lots of people. The whole weekend flew by.
A great start to the new year.

Our stand was its usual eclectic mix with tanks, figures, aircraft, cars, bike and Sci-fi, that all attracted a lot of interest from visitors. This is always a fun show due to the venue but particularly the mix of people that attend. We get everything from hardcore modellers to families with kids that have never seen a model before. There are always lots of public interaction and questions, some of which we can even answer!
