SW Model Show at Bovington starts the year rolling!

Our first show of the year was a great success. Bovington is always worth a visit and with model club stands and a range of traders - who could ask for more.

Sean and Nigel made it through the rain and mud (at the back of the hall) on Friday to set up the stand.

Saturday was very busy, the museum reported 2200 visitors. Our stand was also well supported with some of the usual suspects and some new faces which was great to see. Nige, Peter, Andrey, Robin, Ewan, Sean all had models on the stand. Ewan’s B17 and Me 109 diorama was very popular. We also had a flying visit from Steve and Jeff in the morning.

Sunday, is often quiet, this year although not as busy as Saturday there were still lots of people and Roland, Nige along with Sean, held the fort. The whole weekend flew by.This year, for the first time, a model competition  was held on Sunday. Nige and Ewan entered but with no luck

A great start to the new year.

There were a few more traders this year which were very welcome. Notable additions included FOG on Saturday, Wildcat on Sunday with Justin and Avid Reader for the weekend.
