An enjoyable day for The Earley Risers at IPMS Farnborough ModelFest Scale Model Show.
A relatively local event usually well supported by the club having three tables available at our disposal for the display. Jeff arrived first so was on hand to help Ian set up the table covers and wooden display risers. Soon afterwards Peter, Tim P, Hugh, Stephen, Andrey and Ben arrived adding their models to the display creating a pleasant mix of cars, planes, tanks and other military vehicles in a range of scales.
During the day Tony and later on Antony, while not displaying models themselves, dropped by to have a chat. Our Chairman Steve and Liz were also actively involved with the event, Steve in particular helping BDAC on the day, while Liz helped IPMS Wallingford. Mick and Geoff once again were busy with their Churchill SIG display.
A day of catch up with members of other clubs, chatting to the public and replenishing supplies from the traders, made the event very rewarding.
