ERs braved an unusually cold & blustery Poole to put on a much admired & varied display

On a day that exhibited a cold wind, blustery showers, hail and a little bit of sunshine, the Earley Risers met up at Poole Vikings model show.

Ian, Dave R and Phil, with The Nige all arrived first, followed by Hugh & Steve. Peter & Andrey completed the set up.

After raiding the Burger van for breakfast, quite a few models were entered into this year's competition. Unfortunately, of all the entries, only Andrey & Mick troubled the judges - both winning Silver Awards.

The stand's appeal was evidenced by the number of conversations & photos taken by interested onlookers throughout the day.

As usual, a number of bargains were obtained from the various traders scattered around the hall, as well as items sold 'under the table' from various club stands.

Although seemingly a quieter show, it was great to catch up with friends and fellow modellers as well as traders.
