Liz & Steve Head North!

Liz & Steve headed to North Shields to attend IPMS Tyneside's Northern Model Show. 

For once, there were no roadworks on the M40, M1 & A1 - Both ways!

An added advantage, the weather was kind!

This year, due to the hall layout, they ended up with an 'L-shaped' dislplay- which was used to their advantage.

They were warmly greeted and spent most of the day chatting to people about the various models on display. Among them was former ER Richard and Chris, a former Marlow member.

It was interesting to browse the many traders. Although some were familiar, such as Mr Models and Models for Sale, Their was also a variety of others who don't venture South!

Even though they both entered the competition, only Liz came away with an award. She gained a Highly Commended for her Wave Rider figure - that's the equivalent to Silver anywhere else, as they only award Winner & Highly Commended in each class up here!
