Steve, Liz and Dave R arrived first, closely followed by Ian and Robin, ready to set up the club display.
The Earley Risers soon populated the 3 tables allocated, which were ideally positioned in the centre of the main hall.
Our display was a little different to usual, because the club was covering 2 shows on the same day. So our Thatcham display did not include any tanks or planes but still contained a variety of models.

Robin, Ian and Dave R displayed a selection of mainly cars and motorbikes. Steve displayed his collection of ingeniously weathered tractors, while Liz displayed some of her beautifully hand painted models. They all drew attention from the public during the day.
The Thatcham show is a little different from the shows we usually attend as the other displays included many different areas of modelling not just plastic kits and of additional interest was a classic car show in an adjacent field and a number of scale and full size traction engines in operation.
